Hi, I’m Carmen, an experienced graphic designer and art director with a passion for creating functional designs that successfully elevate brands.

To me, design is not simply about aesthetics, but rather about establishing meaningful connections between brands, products, and people. Through my involvement in multiple community projects in Cape Town, I have developed a deeper understanding of how to achieve this connection through design.

Whether it is a branding project for a local business, an established company or designing packaging for a new product, my goal is to create designs that not only captivate but also communicate the core essence of the brand to its audience in a unique and innovative way.

My eight + years of experience as a graphic designer at a local and international agency, where I have progressively climbed the ranks to become a senior designer, have equipped me with a diverse range of skills. My experience as a producer, project manager and director has provided me with valuable insights into what it takes to bring a brand to life, from its inception to execution.

I take pride in my ability to work collaboratively with clients to understand their vision and translate it into a design that is thoughtful, impactful, and true to their brand's identity.
